“We are excited to continue our 2015 season in Hampton,” Westbrook said.  “Many of our vendors have recently returned from a buying trip in Tucson, Arizona where they found lots of gorgeous and exciting gems, rocks, jewelry, gift items and more.  These great finds will be available at the Hampton show.  There will be a wonderful selection of fantastic merchandise.”

The Hampton Roads Convention Center is conveniently located at 1610 Coliseum Drive, just off I-64 at exit 263.   “This is a beautiful facility,” said Ellen White, Westbrook’s partner.  “In addition to the gem, mineral and jewelry show, the convention center will also host the Hampton Boat Show the same weekend.

“We encourage people to come check out the jewelry and gems and get a taste of all that Hampton has to offer,” Westbrook said.  “The convention center is convenient to many of the great sites in Hampton – Hampton History Museum, Virginia Air & Space Museum and 3D I-Max Theater, Fort Monroe and Sandy Bottom Nature Park to name a few.”

While in Hampton, visitors will find many restaurant choices at nearby Peninsula Town Center.   A little farther away in downtown Hampton, The Conch and Bucket is a great place for lunch or dinner.  The Surf Rider offers fantastic seafood.   They’re famous for their all-crab crab cakes (absolutely no filler) and also for their steamed broccoli.
