Treasures of the Earth Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show Returns to the Convention Center for the Annual Spring Show in Ocean City

For immediate release.

Ocean City, MD – Treasures of the Earth is pleased to announce that their annual spring show in Ocean City will be held June 5-7 at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

Vendors from across the country will participate in this show, which is open to the public.  General admission is $5.00 for adults, age 16 and under free, and military and veterans free.

“We are excited for Treasures of the Earth to return to Ocean City this year.  Our vendors will display all types of jewelry including 14K and 18K gold, sterling silver, handcrafted, classic, fashion and estate jewelry,” said Treasures of the Earth Show promoter, Jane Westbrook.  “There will also be an expansive selection of loose colored gemstones, as well as beads, beading supplies, fossils, mineral specimens, rocks and crystals.  Many of our previous vendors will be returning to Ocean City, along with a number of new vendors.”

“We are excited to continue our 2015 season in Ocean City,” Westbrook said.  “Many of our vendors have recently returned from a buying trip in Tucson, Arizona where they found lots of gorgeous and exciting gems, rocks, jewelry, gift items and more.  These great finds will be available at the Virginia Beach show.  There will be a wonderful selection of fantastic merchandise.”

“The Roland E. Powell Convention Center is conveniently located right in the heart of Ocean City at 4100 Coastal Highway, just two blocks from the Oceanfront, and right on the Chesapeake Bay.” said Ellen White, Westbrook’s partner.  “There are restaurants too numerous to mention offering just about any type of fare imaginable all along the strip, and across the bridge, as well, in West Ocean City.   Seafood is a favorite for many in this area, but there are many other choices including Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Indian, and, of course, pizza, burgers, and subs are always popular beach fare.

Ocean City boasts one of the few wooden boardwalks left on the East Coast, so while there, please do not miss the opportunity to browse the shops and eateries while soaking up the sunshine and salt air and enjoying the ocean breeze.  Fishing excursions from the Ocean City Inlet offer great fun for all ages, and putt-putt golf is a favorite for the kids.

The remainder of the 2015 Treasures of the Earth show schedule will include the following events in the Mid-Atlantic region.

  • July 17-19, Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach, VA
  • September 4-7, North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC
